Artist and label owner, Erik Grant Bennett, has "accidentally" slipped recently into a somewhat new genre for him and has been gaining some attention for his efforts. Despite having produced and written songs in both the Country and Christian genres, EGB has never recorded anything in those styles himself. But after being hired by Dan Colwell to set some Inspirational Country lyrics to music and record demos of the songs, some Nashville promoters took notice of the work and set the wheels in motion. Since then, the four songs have been re-recorded as final radio masters with live musicians and will soon be available on i-Tunes. There are more questions than answers at this time regarding where this road will lead, but Erik is continuing to write and record new songs in the genre and being met with quite favorable reviews. The project is being financed by outside investors, but it is still in the early stages. Stay tuned as the story unfolds...
